Full Day Camp 9:00-4:00 / Ages 5-12 / Cost $300.00 Half Day Camp 9:00-12:00 / Ages 4-10 / Cost $250.00 Extended Care: 8:00-9:00 & 4:00-5:00 / Cost $20.00 per day (see below) Registration: Minimum 15 kids; maximum 30 Tickets ($12) must be purchased by parents/friends to attend final show. Additional Show on July 28th may be added. Half day campers will perform at intermission. Must be a full day camper to be in the show. To audition for main speaking parts, please email sherry@nbperformingarts.com to schedule an audition time slot. This week students will explore musical theatre as we learn, rehearse, and perform an entire Junior play based on the children’s book “The Adventures of Flat Stanley” by Timothy McDonald. All students will learn vocal technique through the music performed in the play, as well as acting and dance skills through scenes and choreography needed to perform this musical. Campers will create their own Flat Stanley to take home and enjoy wonderful adventures together, documenting these adventures to share with friends they met at camp! We will create costumes, sets, and props for the show. Students will explore their creative talents, collaborate with their peers, and develop an educational understanding and passion for the performing arts. We will learn theatre skills through games and activities as well as designing their costumes, sets, and props for the show. Students will be grouped according to their level of experience and age. Parts in the show will be assigned through auditions as well as activities during camp. NBPA retains the right to choose which students perform in the play or intermission based on behavior at camp. Ages 5-18 There are characters of all ages in the musical, so students of all ages are needed to perform the show.
